Great Intentions

The only way to take control of your life, raise your standard of living and move beyond merely surviving is to create your own unique product or service that you offer to increasing numbers of people in exchange for the things of value that you desire. This simple formula applies to countries as well as people. A self-sufficient economy has its own products or services of value to export to the world. Similarly, a self-sufficient individual has something of value to exchange in the global marketplace. That thing of value is based on your natural talent, skill, or interest—in other words, your passion!

Great Intentions

What makes this moment different from

all those that came before?

Good question. One to think about.

I'm honestly not sure

But trust me when I tell you, though

that this my friend is IT!

and if it's not, well that's cool too

'cause trust me, I won't quit

Unphased by past experience

I'm up for "one more try"

I can't envision giving up

success ever draws nigh!

I came. I tried. I stumbled

but I won't rehash the past

I view each new day's options

as more thrilling than the last!

I always get excited,

'cause the hope is always there

that this next "IT" will be the "IT"

that takes me over there!

So why is THIS time different?

Well, I can't say that I know

But possible or not, friend

great intentions make IT so!

As we prepare to launch an new venture, a business associate mentioned how having the right intention and the appropriate script in one's mind brings players, possibilities and purpose to the forefront to make things happen. He commented on the joy and excitement I was expressing towards our new venture and how contagious it had been for all involved. He remarked how seamlessly the components fell into place to build and launch our project within about 96 hours of conceptualization.

I thought about that for a moment, and recalled a similar conversation about what distinguishes true and the ultimately successful entrepreneurs from the “also-rans” is tha true entrepreneurs always believe that their "pot of gold" is waiting at the end of the next rainbow they see, no matter how many empty pots they’ve encountered in the past. Similarly, in many areas of life, be it romance (a new love after a dry spell), business (new venture), tourist season (after a dip in new arrivals), I believe the ability to get excited about the future, and what it can and will be (with the right intention) is critical to success... ...no matter what the present or the past may appear to be.

Each new day, each new hour, each new moment brings with it the opportunity to reset your sail, reframe your goals, recast your vision, forget the past and move forward with new conviction and determination to succeed.

So today's inspiration is just some pure unadulterated excitement, enthusiasm, joy and encouragement from me to you to help you get through whatever you may be facing. Trust me, whatever it may, it too shall pass, and you'll be that much stronger and ready for the next pot of gold that surely will be there as long as you keep moving towards it!

So, set your goals, state your intention and don't rest until you see it in manifest in your reality! The best is yet to come!
